“Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.”
– Andre Gide
Take a risk and travel around the world. See the beauty in all forms and appreciate one’s culture is a must go. You only live once so why not make the most of it, right?
A trip to Taal, Batangas can take you to many different amazing museums, not only that but it is a place where you can find the only camera museum here in the Philippines.
Galleria Taal contains antique camera collection of Manny Ilagan-Barrion. You will love how the camera’s are from the 1800’s to 2015 like we did. Walking around the museum with a friendly tour guide was like going back in times and appreciating on how they film the movies or take photographs back in the old days.
Not only that you can view/explore different kinds of camera because if you’re a student then you’ll receive a discount on your entrance fee.
This place was really worth a visit, not only because it is filled with different collection of cameras but one trivia is that most camera there still works, they make sure to daily use it properly so that the function of the camera will always be good as new.
So if you want to visit the only camera museum in the Philippines then go and visit Galleria Taal, it’s worth a trip.
